stop my divorce

While battling to save my own marriage, I discovered that giving getting rid of many of these relationship killers will be crucial to saving my marriage.

In addition to this, I learnt to give my partner some breathing space and to avoid adding more pressure.

The moment she felt less pressured, she was able to think more clearly, access the various options before her, evaluate the situation more objectively and narrow down areas she had erred and come up with ways to rectify the situation.

You don’t want to pile up pressure and add more guilt on your partner if you are really interested in stopping your divorce.

One way to remove unnecessary pressure on your partner is by avoiding questions that may add more tension to an already charged situation.

Your best bet will be to make your partner feel more relaxed around you. Pushing her away with questions will only make you less attractive.

Avoid any form of Negativity- No amount of negative emotions can save your marriage. Quit the blame game. Stop the criticisms.

Don’t make any unnecessary and unreasonable demands.

Anything that will add to the atmosphere of mistrust and misgivings should be avoided.

Aim to give your all, including your, your ear, your presence, your trust, and your unreserved LOVE.

Love gives all and expects nothing in return.

But guess what?

When you go out of your way to give your unconditional, no hold barred love to the one you love and want to re-unite with, you get more in return.

Why?

Because whatever you sow, you reap.

Sow love and you will reap love in abundance.

Sow trust and you reap same in immeasurable dimension.

Sow care, and get the same.

To save your marriage, invest in sowing positive emotions and giving the very best you’ve got to offer. Your partner’s heart will not be able to resist your offer and you will gradually find that your marriage is on the path of redemption.

Start Building trust in your marriage

Your past conflicts, arguments and name calling have succeeded in doing one thing- burning the bridge of trust and mutual respect.

You need to start the process of rebuilding that bridge.

Cut off every trust shattering acts and actions of yours.

No more lies

Away with INFIDELITY

Most marriages die as a result of infidelity. If you are interested in saving your marriage and building mutual love and respect, learn to be faithful to your spouse.

Respect the marriage vow you made to your partner.

And most importantly, build an atmosphere of peace around yourself. You can’t give what you don’t have.

Learn to forgive yourself for the past errors you may have made that contributed to the cracks in your marriage.

There is no need crying over spilled milk. Only take responsibility and ensure the errors are not repeated.

Improve the Communication and Save Your Marriage

There are two very important components of a successful marriage. These components are

1.     Communication

2.     Sex

In this article, we will examine how your poor communication is killing your marriage and how you can make it right before it is too late.

When you enter into the marriage union, It is essential you develop an open environment where the two of you can talk about issues about your home, your work, finances, health, fears and concerns.

You must endeavor to provide the support and a ready shoulder for your partner to cry on and lean on.

Guess what?

If don’t do that, some else will do just that.

And that will be the beginning of the end for your marriage.

So if you are having problems right now in your marriage and you feel the union is about to disintegrate, then it is important you make effort to improve your communication.

What should you do if you feel i you are a poor communicator?

Then learn.

Yes, communication is a skill. Nobody was born a communicator. You can develop it

You have to make effort to learn to become a good communicator. If you don’t, you may not be able to sustain a meaningful marriage and you will have problem at work and with friends.

One way I have developed in my home is to make it a routine to talk about my issues at work whenever I get back home every day.

When you open up about yourself, your spouse will naturally want to open up too. You will find that he or she will be more willing to share his or her own issues with you.

When you spouse is talking to you, be disciplined to give your utmost attention. That is a sign of respect.

It will be very rude of you to walk out while your partner is talking.

Ask questions where appropriate and show empathy and concern when needed.

Be involved in the life of your partner and be willing to help out where necessary.

When you do that, you build confidence and mutual respect and it becomes difficult for any third party to come in between you.
